BraveArc

Privacy Policy

BraveArc helps families turn homework and routines into missions, points, coins, and parent-managed rewards. We collect only the data needed to run the app, sync progress across a family's devices, and process optional subscriptions.

Effective date: June 10, 2026

Data BraveArc Uses

  • Account identifier: BraveArc uses Sign in with Apple and an AWS Cognito user identifier to keep your family's data attached to your account.
  • Child profiles and progress: profile names, XP, coins, levels, streaks, mission completions, pending approvals, and reward unlocks may be stored locally and synced through BraveArc's backend.
  • Parent settings: app configuration such as selected Reminders lists, reward settings, mission templates, approval settings, and subscription feature state.
  • Subscription status: BraveArc uses Apple's StoreKit to check whether BraveArc Pro is active.

Apple Reminders

BraveArc asks permission to access Apple Reminders so it can display homework missions and mark reminders complete when a child finishes a mission. Reminders content is primarily processed on device. BraveArc syncs game progress and mission state needed for family devices to stay consistent; it does not sell or use Reminders content for advertising.

Where Data Is Stored

  • On device: BraveArc stores app data locally using Apple platform storage such as SwiftData, UserDefaults, and Keychain.
  • Cloud sync: BraveArc uses AWS services, including API Gateway, Lambda, DynamoDB, and Cognito, to sync family progress between devices signed in to the same account.
  • Apple services: Sign in with Apple and StoreKit are handled by Apple under Apple's terms and privacy policies.

Tracking, Ads, and Analytics

BraveArc does not show ads, does not use IDFA, does not use App Tracking Transparency, and does not include third-party analytics SDKs in the production app.

Children's Privacy

BraveArc is designed for family use with a parent-managed Parent Hub. Parent controls are protected with a PIN and, where configured, biometric unlock. Parents decide which child profiles, missions, and rewards are created.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only with service providers needed to operate BraveArc, including Apple for account/subscription services and AWS for backend sync.

Data Retention

BraveArc keeps account and progress data while the account is active or as needed to provide sync. Local data can be removed from the device by deleting the app. Account-related deletion requests can be sent to the support contact below.
